Are you passionate about assessment for learning in schools? Does your job include leading or teaching assessment in your school, district or faculty? Join us at the Faculty of Education, University of Ottawa to engage in collaborative learning while interacting with assessment experts from across Canada on initiatives that matter to you.
The Canadian Assessment for Learning Network is a non-profit, member-led organization dedicated to connecting Canadian educators who use assessment for learning (formative assessment) as a central part of teaching and learning. The Summer Institute is a CAfLN initiative which is co-sponsored by the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba and the University of Ottawa. The program will include master classes, time for individual inquiry, collaborative sessions with colleagues and individual consultations with CAfLN coaches including Damian Cooper, Lorna Earl, Martha Koch, Ken O’Connor, Katie White, and others.

Fee: $450 (includes welcome reception, lunches & health breaks)
